Taylor Swift's full name Taylor Swift is Taylor Alison Swift. Taylor Swift was born on December 13th of 1989, in West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.A. Taylor Swift became an incredibly popular singer and songwriter in early 2001 when she began sharing her stories of pain and heartbreak. Swift began showing an desire to work in the music industry from a very young age. The trajectory of her career was rapid from children's play roles and her first appearance on stage in crowds of people. When she was 11 years old, she performed The Star-Spangled Banner before a Philadelphia 76ers basketball game and in the next year, she began playing guitar and began to write songs. Swift was inspired by artists who played country music, like Shania Twain, the Dixie Chicks and now the Chicks in order to write original music that expressed the apathy she experienced by the age of 13. Swift moved from Pennsylvania along with her parents and moved to Tennessee, Hendersonville. she turned 13 to devote her time in contacting the country music labels.
